Product Description: Hennessy is a product made in Cognac region of France founded by Jas Hennessy & Co. in 1813. The company was producing Brandies and exporting it to UK, Ireland and United States. The name VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) Privilege, originates from a very special order placed by King George IV of England. He requested for VSOP and the 1st shipment was shipped in 1818. Made from Ugni Blanc grapes harvested in France. The juice is fermented for a year into a wine. Then the wines goes through a Two-Step distillation process to become Eaux-de-vie. Euax-de-vie is then matured in Oak Barrels (French Limousin Oak) where the change of colour and taste takes place. They are matured for many year to get the best taste and complexity. Hennessy VSOP has a flamboyant mahogany colour with light tones. It has a harmonious rounded flavour and taste of grapes, orange along with a combination of caramel and chocolate.
Best Way to Drink: Hennessy VSOP can be had Neat sip by sip or in a tumbler glass with Ice or just add plain water to bring out the aromas of the drink.
