Product Description : Amrut is a brand of Indian Single Malt whisky manufactured in India by Amrut Distilleries and the 1st Indian Single Malt to be made in India. Predominantly Indian Barley is used to make the Amrut Fusion Indian Single Malt with addition of Peated malt imported from Scotland. It is matured and aged in New Oak and American used Bourbon casks for a period of one year as the maturation is faster in India as compared to the process in Scotland due to hot Indian weather. The aroma is distinctively heavy, thickly oaked and complex some curious barley-sugar notes shrouded in soft smoke. The taste is of full blown peat with a sherry triffle taste, oaky vanilla flavour, which moves to chocolate fudge in the middle. A great fusion drink for Indian Single malt lover.
Best Way to Drink it : Neat or On the rocks or a very few drops of water. A word of caution – Just sip (don’t gulp). Let the flavours and aroma catch your attention with each sip. Some prefer to have a bit of soda water added to the drink.
