Product Description : Amrut is a brand of Indian Single Malt whisky manufactured in India by Amrut Distilleries and the 1st Indian Single Malt to be made in India. Predominantly Indian Barley is used to make the Amrut Indian Single Malt. It is matured and aged in New Oak and American used Bourbon casks for a period of one year as the maturation is faster in India as compared to the process in Scotland due to hot Indian weather. The aroma is distinctively of licorice-bourbon notes with near perfect bitter sweet balance, burnt honeycomb and toffee flavours. A golden hue colour drink has a barley-oak sweetness along with big bourbon taste with the licorice and mollased sugar. But the barley taste adds a new dimension to the drink.
Best Way to Drink it : Neat or On the rocks or a very few drops of water. A word of caution – Just sip (don’t gulp). Let the flavours and aroma catch your attention with each sip. Some prefer to have a bit of soda water added to the drink.
