Product Description  : Bowmore is the pioneer in making Single Malt in the Islay region of Scotland and is there since 1779. A lot of attention is given to the detailing at Bowmore. The malt barns are proprietary, having their own barley. The fermentation period is well defined, and the casks are hand selected for each new batch. The scotch is not just smokey but rich in fruit and sea salts which is so characteristic of Bowmore Distillery. Bowmore 15 years is matured first in bourbon barrels then Oloroso casks, there’s no finer example of a sherry cask finish than our 15-Year-Old. It’s the final three years spent in Oloroso sherry casks that gives Bowmore 15-Year-Old the rich, deep colour and robust warming finish. A burnt Sienna colour the aromas are full of dark chocolate and raisin and a gentle smoke aroma leads all the way. The taste is of wonderful cedar wood and rich treacle toffee flavours.
