Product Description : Bill Samuels, Sr., simply wanted a whisky he would enjoy drinking. Never bitter or sharp. Maker’s Mark American bourbon is made from soft red winter wheat. The use of Red Winter Wheat is one-of-a-kind, making Makers Mark a full-flavored bourbon that’s easy to drink. The distillery is located in an area where the water stream runs on a limestone shelf, making this water rich in calcium and makes yeast work better. The yeast for this whisky is made inhouse and unique to Makers Mark. The oak barrels are perfectly charred to caramalise the natural wood sugars. In order to ensure consistency, every barrel is rotated by hand during the aging process so that the whisky is aged to taste and not time. Each and every bottle of Maker’s Mark is still hand-dipped in signature red wax at the distillery. The aroma of sweet oak, vanilla, bright fruit and wheat prevails on the nose. The taste is sweet with balance oak, vanilla and fruity essence. A smooth and creamy finish with a pleasant soft spice and clean finish.
