The whisky has the essence of made by the sea feel and a rugged maritime connection. Talisker 10 years Single Malt has a famously rich and powerful peat-smoke flavour, while the finish leaves you with a warm peppery taste at the back of the mouth. Talisker 10 years is double distilled to create a rich, deep character embodying the maritime characteristics of a coastal whisky, and then aged for a minimum of 10 years in American oak casks. Brilliant gold in colour it has a powerful aroma of peat-smoke with hint of sea-water salt with a citrus sweetness. Talisker 10 years single malt has a flavour of rich dried fruit sweetness, clouds of smoke, strong barley-malt flavour with intense peppery taste in the mouth.
